Our latest feature is a series by Helene Mastrandreas with Parisian actress, writer, and performer Zoe Besmond de Senneville. Inspired by her book Sourdre, Mastrandreas was deeply moved by Zoe’s painful account of losing her hearing and the resulting loss of confidence in her body’s capacity for desire. This series is a visual exploration—a catalog and alphabet of touchpoints and body parts—that reconnects her with her desires and brings them vividly back to life.
